The menu at Cafe Dori is thoughtfully curated, offering an impressive selection that ranges from health-conscious choices to indulgent European-inspired dishes. Among the house specials, I highly recommend trying the Blueberry Lemonade Assam Tea, a refreshing drink that bursts with flavor at ₹320. For those craving something sweet, the Nutella Peanut Butter Shake remains a classic favorite, combining rich flavors that satisfy every chocolate lover.
Equally enticing are the smoothies, such as the vibrant Mix Berry Smoothie, which brings together mulberry, strawberry, raspberry, and blueberry with honey and yogurt for an energizing start to your day at ₹375. And let's not forget about the comforting Ginger Lemon Tea, a soothing blend of Assam black tea and traditional spices for just ₹200, perfect for a cozy afternoon.
Feedback from patrons speaks volumes. Customers rave about the Mango Smoothie Bowl—a delight that not only looks stunning but is also packed with tropical goodness. The kitchen maintains a focus on quality, ensuring that even lighter dishes, such as expertly crafted salads and flavorful mains like the truffle risotto, are delightfully presented and tastefully balanced.
For a fulfilling brunch experience or a casual lunch, dishes like the pesto pasta shine through with their fresh and comforting flavors, as noted in multiple customer reviews. However, diners have reported occasional inconsistencies with flavor intensity in some menu items, such as the chicken sandwich, which could benefit from a bit more zest and freshness.
Service at Cafe Dori earns high marks for its warmth and attentiveness, making every visit feel special. With its thoughtful menu, inviting atmosphere, and quality service, Cafe Dori stands out as a must-visit destination in New Delhi for anyone seeking a delightful culinary escape. “ Walked in expecting a decent meal, but ended up loving the whole vibe. The place has this super cozy warm feel, minimal but aesthetic interiors, and a calm buzz that makes you want to just sit and stay a little longer. I had their pesto pasta and it was so good - fresh, flavorful, and comforting. Great spot to catch up or just work on your laptop. ”

“ The cool ambiance and excellent service made the shop a pleasant experience. I also enjoyed the superb presentation of the food. However, the flavors were a bit bland, and both the pasta and shrimp were slightly overcooked. As for the katsu chicken sandwich, it could have been better. The chicken was cooked well, but it didn’t pair nicely with the buttered toasted bread, which made the sandwich feel too heavy and dry. A few more vegetables or a touch of pickle would have helped balance the taste. The fries were also a letdown. They were too oily and could have been larger and less crispy. ”
“ This place was really good! I love the ambiance and the minimalist look it has. We went there for lunch. Started with some fresh lime sodas. We then ordered a flat bread with chicken and tomatoes etc which was very nice. We also ordered their summer salad that had quinoa, and some fruit. The description had mangoes in it but there weren't any but still it was quite tasty. We then ordered the chicken chermoula over quinoa and spiced yogurt. All very good. We ended it with a delicious cup of cortado. All in all, it was a good lunch. ”
“ Cafe Dori in New Delhi offers a unique dining experience with its stylish ambiance, great food, and excellent service. Located in the trendy neighborhood of Mehrauli, this cafe has quickly gained popularity among food enthusiasts looking for something a bit more refined. The first thing you'll notice when you walk in is the contemporary yet cozy atmosphere. The space is beautifully designed with a mix of modern and rustic touches, perfect for both casual meals and intimate gatherings. The seating is comfortable, and the open kitchen concept adds a sense of openness to the space. When it comes to the food, Cafe Dori definitely delivers. The menu offers a variety of options, from European-inspired dishes to lighter, health-conscious choices. Highlights include their expertly crafted salads, freshly baked pastries, and delicious mains like the truffle risotto and wood-fired pizzas. The ingredients are of high quality, and the flavors are well-balanced, making each dish a treat for the palate. However, the one downside is the pricing. The food is undeniably good, but it does come at a premium. While the quality justifies the cost to some extent, the overall experience can feel a bit on the pricier side, especially if you're visiting frequently or ordering multiple courses. The drinks, in particular, can be quite expensive. Despite the steep prices, the food, service, and overall vibe make Cafe Dori a place worth visiting for those looking to indulge. It’s a great choice for a special occasion or when you're in the mood to splurge a little. Highly recommended! ”
